What have you learned so far in this position that you would be able to apply in another term on the board? Other awards have been for the academic success of our students, and for our working relationship as a board and CEO, winning the American Association of Community Colleges’ top prize for the best Board/CEO relationship in the entire country. As a cohesive board, we have worked so hard to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality college education, with absolutely no excuses and no barriers, which is why we have won so many national awards for our approach to overcoming poverty. I am also running for reelection because, even though we have accomplished much at Amarillo College over the past eight years, there is still so much to do.

The series builds on a number of new magical elements introduced in the Spoken Mage companion novel, Power of Pen and Voice. You can expect Verene and Darius's worlds to expand as the series progresses. The new series is set at a new Academy, once more beginning at first year. She is confronted with Darius, the crown prince of Kallorway, a powerful mage with a powerless father (Prince Cassius from the Spoken Mage series). As the daughter of an immensely powerful mage, Verene's biggest challenge is that she has no power herself. It follows Elena's daughter, Verene, who is sent to the Kallorwegian Academy for her mage training. The Hidden Mage series continues the story begun in The Spoken Mage series. The headpiece reportedly dates back to the 1920s, having originally been part of the Queen Mother's collection. The third and final tiara frequented by the Princess of Wales is the Lotus Flower Tiara, which formerly belonged to Princess Margaret. Kate last wore the piece at a November 2022 state banquet in South Africa. This piece, which was also favored by Princess Diana, was originally made for Queen Mary in the early 20th century, and prominently features features dozens of hanging pear-shaped pearls and diamonds. Her most-worn sparkler is the Lover's Knot Tiara (also known as the Cambridge Lover's Knot Tiara). On her wedding day, she opted for Queen Elizabeth's Cartier Halo Tiara, a delicate band set with hundreds of diamonds that originally belonged to Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, and was later gifted to Elizabeth II on her 18th birthday. Since marrying Prince William in 2011, Kate has only been seen wearing three different tiaras on a handful of occasions.
